What We Feel Most Has No Name

In early morning amber tuft light,

supine under the arch swoop sky,

I wondered over cinnamon snip

dotted here and there.

Callings of horse warble

rang out over bird sprinkle song

settling among clover and fluff.

The nettle-sting world filled

with lemon squeeze sun

and round sticky butterscotch gladness.
