Mad Swirl Press is excited to announce the launch of Son of a Chicken Killer, poetry and photography by Tyler Malone.
Here’s what Mad Swirl Poetry Editor MH Clay has to say about Son of a Chicken Killer:
“Son of a Chicken Killer” contains piles of words that worm their way through a “perpetually imbalanced existence.” Tyler Malone shows the reader a wasteland of recall, dotted throughout with little oases of hope and “routine dopamine anticipation.” He does not look for healing but clarity, “the curse of awareness.” So, let the reader beware and read if you dare (but read, you must).
Here’s a bit about Tyler: Tyler Malone is from Texas and lives in the United States (for now.) He’s a photographer and poet who’s working on his first novel. Son of a Chicken Killer is his only first book worth mentioning. Taking care of the art of others has been a long-lasting source of volcanic bliss, and he knows so because he’s been the short fiction editor for Mad Swirl since 2012. He’s seen the world through stories up to 1,000 words, and they have filled the space between his ears and Earth’s upper atmosphere.
Be one of the first on your block to acquire a copy of Son of a Chicken Killer! Print ($20) and electronic ($5) editions are available NOW at Amazon.
If you’re local to DFW, come on out to Mad Swirl Open Mic this 1st Wednesday (aka 08.05.26) and get a of Son of a Chicken Killer!
