Flux and Reflux

We pass through life and life through us.
It’s an ongoing process, repetitive,
mostly tedious, sometimes unpleasant,
occasionally painful and so, so wasteful.

I spend hours each day eliminating things:
thises, thats, t’others, whats and whatnots.

Life is ephemeral and temperamental and its
memory is like wind (the kind you can capture).
Trapped wind can hurt.
Trapped memories too.

The cure they say, they say, is to savour the moment
but when did savouring anything only take a moment?

What’s needed is a moment maximizer. – mh clay
