Don’t
Don’t look
Don’t look
at your fucking phone

Every moment
of every day
staring at a screen
with nothing in mind

Just sit there
alone with your boredom

Constant stimulation
A compulsion
An addiction
A rope
with which to hang
your sense of self

Scrolling for so long
it makes your hand hurt

There is nothing left
to wonder about
and no mind left
to wander
