How do the sacred cows of India
Feel about the ritual slaughter
Of the early Hebrews and the throwing
Of sheep, goat, cow (and quail) blood
All over the sacred altar.
Is there a living bovine God
Not an idol, that may address these matters
A Mother Mary of the species giving birth
To a Christ of the Cows?
Gestating in one of the four stomachs, perhaps?
A bovine Savior?
Once all humans are born again?
God works in mystified rarity
Possibly in India.
