Water flows.
In my sleep I hear it
Speaking to me.
The water knows my name.
Its waves whisper
Secrets and gossip.
I feel relaxed.
Still I quite don’t trust the water.
I feel myself drowning
When I’m dreaming
As I slip down
As if weighed down with metal.
I wake up in a sweat,
Water’s voice
Fresh in my ears.
I go to my kitchen,
Drink a glass of water.
