Join Mad Swirl this 1st Wednesday of January (aka 01.01.25) when we’ll be doin’ the open mic voodoo that we do do at our OC home, Barbara’s Pavillion!
Hosts Johnny O & MH Clay will get things started starting with some musical grooves brought to you by Swirve (Chris Curiel, Gerard Bendiks) to be followed by our feature set then on to open mic madness!
This month we will be featuring the multifaceted, multitalented mad women herself, CJ Critt! Here’s a bit about CJ:
CJ Critt is an actress, performer, writer, producer, spoken word performer, singer, author, host and facilitator. To audiobook fans, she has brought to life many books. CJ is a veteran of shows on and off Broadway. She has performed stand-up, and competed in the spoken word World of Poetry Slam.
CJ has won a Cable Ace Award for the TV pilot, Words Aloud! She is the creator and director of THE ANGRY GIRL SEXTET, a live performance a cappella, all-chick cocktail of liquid language. Her current creation, BUZZED! the Musical, the liveliest creature-feature pop-rock musical satire since Little Shop of Horrors, will be coming to a hive near you soon!
