Mad Swirl is excited to start off the year welcoming Doug Mac back to the Mad Gallery, with his grotesque and inventive cartoons that seem to have a pulse all of their own. Mac’s work is a kaleidoscope of bold colors and characters, and every piece feels unruly and magnetic. With work that often showcase musicians, his art captures a spirit that mirrors the gritty, rebellious edge of many a music scene. Each piece feels like a visual mosh pit — provocative, playful, and impossible to ignore. ~ Madelyn Olson
