"I was born and raised in a small town on the Olympic peninsula, I left Sequim, Washington when I was 23, and moved to Seattle, Washington. I am 95% self taught artist. I have had only one year of formal art school, and that experience changed my view and drive with my art, I realized what I did not want to be as an artist, art school interrupted my focus and vision.

From the late 90' through current, I been researching my ability, direction, and goals for my artwork. I feel that the feminine form represents such a large part of my life and art work, as a woman in the American society we struggle to fit into one ideal of womanhood, and I want to represent the female body as a symbol of fertility, strength , and individual beauty. I am attracted to raw geometric shapes representing my inspiration from conventional objects. I love to experiment with shapes, lines, patterns, and color. My current direction is the process of form is limitless.

I am continually producing my work, and expanding my bodies of work, and reaching out to several areas of Washington, and Oregon state.

My future goals with my artwork, is to compose several bodies of work that represent political, religious, and gender equality, I want to push the boundaries of social freedom.

The freedom to be individual, with self education, and a thirst for knowledge and the ability to change my life, regardless as the struggles face me, I push forward, bending the perception of “fine art” I am thankful to have the right and freedom to practice and create art that is real life.

I navigate by my rules, I thrive on experimenting obscure shapes and geometry. I am fascinated with breaking boundaries of the traditional views of shape. I have found my perspective in representing form."
